ZBrush - a program for 3D modeling with the ability to "sculpt" 3D sculptures, reinforced with a 3D rendering engine in real time, which greatly simplifies the procedure of creating the required 3D-object. It has a lot of plug-ins (working with textures, geometry, lots of new brushes, fast integration with professional 2D graphics packages and much more).


Features of ZBrush:
The program quickly works with standard 3D objects, using brushes to modify the geometry of materials and textures.
Allows you to achieve interactivity with an unthinkable number of polygons. Using special methods, you can raise the detail to tens or hundreds of millions of polygons.
Each point (pixel) contains information not only about its XY coordinates and color values, but also the depth of Z, orientation and material. This means that you not only can "sculpt" a three-dimensional object, but also "paint" it, drawing with strokes with depth. That is, you do not have to draw shadows and glare, so they look natural - ZBrush does it automatically.

Capabilities:
• DynaMesh - modeling without the need to create a preliminary grid model, and the application of logical operations on the model with the preservation of topology.
• Modeling a 3D object from a ball to a finished character, similar to the process of sculpting from clay: you can pull, distribute the material evenly, modify the geometry of materials and textures, create an effect of flickering of the eyes, etc.
• Recreating geometry and polishing the surface, creating holes or smooth surfaces along curves, organizing a library of templates for the shapes of noses, ears, heads and other details to create characters, which greatly speeds up the workflow.
• The ability to easily cut the model into two or more, thanks to the brush fragments in combination with other options, as well as the creation of complex parts and the addition of the internal thickness of the created model for 3D printing.
• FiberMesh - creation of three-dimensional hair, fur and wool with function of export of ready objects.
• Cavity Mixer - defines shading for different materials.
• A set of brushes for processing fur and hair, adjusting the parameters of brushes.
• Support for MicroMesh for rendering hair / fur or individual polygons as separate 3D objects.
• A set of BPR-filters and operators to improve the final renderers of ZBrush.
• Global B Shadow Global Shadow settings and Ambient Occlusion shading models for easy light and shadow management.
• Creation of small details with the help of tools "Alpha" and "Mask".

New Brushes:
• Trim Curve - the brush trims the 3D model as well as the old Clip Curve brush, but it deletes the polygons, rather than "flattening" them by projecting onto the stroke curve.
• Bridge Curve - the brush is created specially for fans to do holes in geometry. How it works: a hole is allocated, the boundary is made by a new group (or a loop is created along the edge of the hole) and connects to another similar boundary, forming a connecting bridge from the polygons.
• Frame Mesh - a brush that uses curves in ZBrush. Frame Mesh allows you to stick the curve to the open borders of the grid. Moreover, the boundaries can be different, including the boundaries between polygroups.
